Role Overview

We are hiring Solar Designers to join our on-site team in Gurgaon. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in solar electrical interconnection, manual drafting, and electrical load calculations—especially within the U.S. solar market (residential or commercial).

Key Responsibilities

  • Create accurate and NEC-compliant solar permit designs using AutoCAD
  • Design and validate solar electrical interconnection diagrams per project requirements
  • Perform manual drafting and electrical calculations to ensure load, capacity, and safety compliance
  • Interpret client inputs, utility guidelines, and AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) requirements
  • Coordinate with internal QA, engineering, and project teams for timely deliveries
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and turnaround time

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in U.S. solar permit design (residential/commercial)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
  • Solid understanding of NEC codes and S. electrical standards
  • Experience in solar electrical interconnection, one-line diagrams, and site plan layouts
  • Strong grip on manual drafting and electrical load calculations
  • Education: ITI / Diploma / BE in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Experience with QCEL systems is a strong plus
