Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Create detailed and accurate solar permit designs for commercial projects up to 300 kW, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
• Electrical Calculations: Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and wire sizing to ensure the safety and efficiency of the solar PV system.
• Utility and AHJ Coordination: Work closely with utility companies and AHJs to ensure that designs meet all regulatory requirements and facilitate smooth approval processes.
• Quality Control: Review and validate designs to ensure accuracy and completeness, reducing the need for revisions and rework.
• Compliance: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, local building codes, and utility requirements to ensure all designs comply.
